                                 Soundtrack

My team and I took time to search for the soundtrack we wanted to use for our film. A problem we ran into is finding music that was copyrighted free that still fit the scene of our movie. Fortunately, we found 3 mixes on YouTube that fit our film and we all agreed that once we begin shooting we'd use the 3 mixes we found and we'd pick the parts that would fit us.

Location

Since my team and I are shooting our film at our school (Lauderhill 6-12) we decided to come in on a Saturday and scout out locations. We all agreed without hesitation on using the closet room in our Media Studies teacher building due to the closet having a natural flickering light and a small confined space which will help convey the broken state of our main character a lot better than us just cutting the lights on and off.

Discussion on genres and sub-genres

 Tropes are things that are specific to certain types of genres. To understand tropes we have to understand what genres are.  According to StudioBinder genre can be defined as "categories where a particular movie can be placed based on the setting, characters, plot, mood, tone, and theme."  Genres also have sub-genres, which are "smaller category that fits inside a particular genre" Overall the combination of genres and sub-genres allows for the overall combination of a great film.
