Update on production schedule and things we learned

Just a slight update in my team and I's production schedule. We've decided to shift most of are shooting time during study hall and lunch to not rely on our teacher coming on Saturday's. This also allows us on the Saturdays to take our time editing and to have one-on-one time with our teacher to ask questions.


New things learned

  • Lenses matter !! They make certain shots 10 times better just by being able to focus on certain thing more.
  • It is crucial to wear the same clothes while recording. 
  • Your scenes do not have to be recorded perfectly. We are not professionals so are film will have flaws it just depends on how we fix them and if we can't in the moment there is no problem researching or asking for help.

Discussion on genres and sub-genres

 Tropes are things that are specific to certain types of genres. To understand tropes we have to understand what genres are.  According to StudioBinder genre can be defined as "categories where a particular movie can be placed based on the setting, characters, plot, mood, tone, and theme."  Genres also have sub-genres, which are "smaller category that fits inside a particular genre" Overall the combination of genres and sub-genres allows for the overall combination of a great film.
